Is this a good idea? (Read post first)

  1. Basically, place a sign as you would an [ACCESS] sign, but with [view] instead. This would allow said person/people to view and mouse over the items, but not move or take them. This could be used off mass item auctions, an "odds-and-ends" shop where all the chests have the [view] sign and people could request items. Additionally this could be a command as -/res set view container true- to have people be able to view everything, or -/res pset [playername] view container true-
    I see this as having no flaws, but of course it does, so tell me your opinion!

  3. The view and container would have to be connected, otherwise it'd think that container is a separate variable.
