  3. Great idea Penguin! I lost a lot of stone while at FNM since my vault, enderchest and inv were full so this would definitely help with those situations. Also, I remember distinctly when I joined EMC in 2012 that the /wild world would reset periodically and you could also lock chests(and spawn mobs via command:D), so your idea isn't completely new as far as I know.
