Just to warn you all ahead of time, this is mostly a joke suggestion, but it could be implemented for some laughs and fun. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus Festivus is a fake holiday celebrated on December 23, originally brought forth by the television show Seinfeld. Festivus is a parody holiday that distances itself from the commercialism of modern Christmas. I personally think EMC should have a Festivus celebration, as it would be a fun thing for the community to get involved with. Festivus includes the following traditions: the aluminium pole, the dinner, the airing of the grievances, feats of strength, and miracles. The festivus pole could just be a tall stack of iron blocks at spawn. The dinner could theoretically be a special mob killing event where the mobs drop "meat loaf" (another Seinfeld reference). I'd recommend skipping the airing of the grievances, but everyone could write in a book and throw it into lava? Here is the fun one. Feats of strength involve wrestling the head of the house. Several staff (glares especially at Krysyy and Aikar) would have a them versus the world PvP tournament. The miracles could be almost anything, so this can be interpreted by staff. They are meant to be small miracles, but I'd recommend a SMALL drop party or maybe chin not breaking something for once. As previously mentioned, this is a joke suggestion, but I think it could be a potential stepping stone for a fun staff hosted party. Granted, there are most likely Christmas party plans in the making, but this of course would just be a little wacky and silly alternative, but in the best of ways.
