The regular white for group chat is quite hard to see when there is a lot of chat going on in the community channel so I suggest it is switched to a different colour. Group chat is great for when you have a couple people who want to talk (in almost a groupchat PM style way) but isn't preferable simply because it's hard to notice messages, even a sound indicator would be great. People may not want this when there is a big event going on which they are in a group for, so it could only be coloured/have a sound if there is x amount of people or less. And I know there's a suggestion for customised chat colours, but this is a simple addition that can be added for that time being (and shouldn't take up much developer time at all).
+1 I agree. Just like with PMs with another person in-game, I believe that group chat should be color-coded. PMs are purple/hot pink, and I believe the group chats deserve the same attention. It makes it much easier for people to visually distinguish which channel they are talking in.

The customized colors ticket covers this and the devs might as well go all the way if they are going to mess with the chat code. An earlier option isn't priority and so it will have to wait.
