  1. Hello EMC,
I know that there are numerous downsides to allowing invisibility potions but I have a way to ensure that they are not used for players committing wrong doings. I would like to have them enabled to hide from mobs in the wild, although I do suggest that custom mobs can still see you but you are invisible to regular mobs. The way I propose that players can not commit wrong doings with the potions is that we create a plug in that allows players to see you as a kind of ghost type player so that the players are still visible and can't be caught spying on others or committing griefing acts opon others. I would like to see this idea come into play because players such as I myself do get stuck out in the wild at night and would like a way to continue doing what their business is other than having to look for shelter.

  2. Pretty sure this has been suggested before. It's tabled on the discussion board from what I know. Minecraft changes in the future affect it greatly.
  3. It says on the already suggested ideas that a suggestion has been made to block them but not to bring them back.
  4. why would you need to hide from regular mobs? it's already easy enough to just run away from them

  5. Torches, gloewdtone, sea lanterns, redston lamps, lava, glass and half slabs all "de-mobify" an area if you are trying to work on something for a long time. Other than the lava they all take up less inventory space and all last a lot longer than a potion effect. While true also these options allow for less mobility they are still alternatives.
  6. The only thing I'd want invisibility potions for is PVP arena... maybe then I could actually win (but probably not)
  7. I do belive guardians can't attack you with an invisibility potion effect. That would be very helpful, but there are still many disadvantages.
