This happens mainly when I'm in the nether but I've seen it in the overworld too. But a message often appears saying "Netherhound's effective difficulty was : 5" (or some other number) The thing is, I haven't been engaging any hounds, and I'm not around anybody else who is locally. Is a hound falling to it's death accidentally? What's causing it? WiZ
I've seen this as well. Specifically with Netherhounds. As I was leaving my gold farm one day, at the beginning part of my rail, this message showed up.
Ducky007 who is usually out with me see's this as well if she is within a certain range ( talking often several chunks away... ). Maybe someone killed them and is within the range for those notices.
