[SOLVED ISSUE] Players Leaving / Not Enough New Features

Is EMC in trouble? Some old players left. Also, EMC hasn't released anything new in a while.

Players will come and go for a number of reasons. Some simply get bored of Minecraft. Others will leave because they want special perks and bonuses they feel entitled to over others because they were here longer (yes, this is why some "known names" have left in the past, though I won't go into more detail on this). They will make it seem as if they think EMC is "dying" or "not as fun", but they're simply trying to draw attention to themselves. EMC is steadly growing every day and there are no signs of it slowing down.

In regards to lack of new features, this will happen from time to time. There are a LOT of changes that go on with Minecraft that require us to do a lot of back end fixes/changes that people will never see. However, they are required to keep the servers you play on here up to date and more importantly, as lag free as possible to ensure a fun playing experience. We're now bringing on more inside help to allow for more features to be released on a quicker time frame. However, we ask that you step back for a minute and look at what EMC has that other servers don't. If we didn't add anything new for months to come, we'd still be ahead of the game by lightyears. That being said, we plan to stay there, so please give us time to release new features the only way EMC knows how, properly!
