I have an idea that can warn people that an event is planned to happen when they are on the forums or something. This allows people to not get mad and forum watchers to be informed on events. The announcement bar would work like the kinds you see on a NY NY Street. It would go across the top and release event announcements or updates. Leave your Bieber Fever, Thoughts, and opinions below.
Or like a box of Events that are going on and they would have the dates and times across from each event. But i do like your idea, its really annoying when you can't find the event thread -_-
