There could be IP spammers, cussers, etc that coud use this to spread their message through out EMC >->

They can do that already. The OP stated that timer could be implemented that prevents you from spamming it multiple times. Anything else can already be done quickly by hopping across servers. Also, a player who has come on only to spam things and spread random junk to players isn't going to take the time and learn all of our cool features such as this if it gets implemented. I feel like the advantage to event holders outweighs the few times it will be misused.

I wonder if people are really understanding what is suggested in this thread. The comments aren't all really addressing the suggestion itself.

The uses could be for economy or non economy. Just seems like a good idea to me.

You should not report them if they do it one time not in economy chat, you should warm them though.
Only report them if the problem persists.
