When you repair tools, do they gradually lose durability each time so they wear out faster? or is there anything that someone needs to know regarding repairing tools besides how to do it?
The cost it the repair (how much xp) goes up every time you repair it. If you have repaired an item 1-2 times, it's much cheaper to have someone else repair it for you. Also, when repairing tools: DO NOT use diamonds. It is always cheaper to use the too you are trying to repair. Example: instead of using 3-4 diamonds to repair your pick axe, use the 3 diamonds to make a pick axe & put that in the 2nd slot. This is especially true with shovels. You can fully repair a shovel with one diamond with this method and it always costs less xp to use the tool instead of raw diamonds as well.
