  1. Ratboy Genius
    The Under Appreciated Web-Series
Through the ages, especially when the Internet took off, there have been some very odd, but misunderstood things that have caused a stir. Ratboy Genius, before it became viral, already had a small cult following. The creator, Ryan Dorin, was a composer, and used his artistic talent to create Ratboy Genius, along with its score and animation. Beyond being a composer, he was also a professor at the College of Staten Island in New York. In 2013, Dorin created Ratboy Genius dreams Minecraft, another story in his collection of Ratboy Genius seasons. In the 2nd episode of Ratboy Genius Dreams Minecraft, a song called "Potato Knishes," a surreal ballad sung by the antagonist of the story, Little King John was found, and soon became a viral video, causing increased interest in the Ratboy Genius series.

    (The Song in Question)
Publicity of the series caused an odd reaction from the general public, most likely from the surrealism of the series as a whole. Thankfully, Dorin did not panic when this happened, and even embraced the attention. Many people have dismissed the series as a piece of nonsense from an odd person, but there is still interest in the series, and many people enjoy the story of it.

  2. just watched that video
no idea what to do now
  3. That's pretty much the reaction I got when I first watched it. With a little more context, however, it isn't quite as weird as it seems.
