Obviously the end wastelands are finite. So that also means the resources in it are finite. Therefore, will the end be reset just as often as the wastelands it spawned in? Or will the end have a different reset schedule? ~Wither
Yes. You have to access the waste end through end portals in the waste. Frontier portals will bring you to the frontier end.
I do believe it is the same as regular waste reset. Seeing how SS had to manually world edit in strongholds in the wastelands for this to work right. The only resource that is finite is elytra and Aikar has stated it being a rare dragon drop in the future.
No, that was the Frontier There are 3 strongholds manually added to each Frontier world, and if you spot a stronghold which doesn't have a working portal (so one which was previously active) then you can PM senior staff to have them activate it again. In the Wastelands all portals simply point to the 'Waste End', and there are dozens of them. Edit: Ninja'd by Chickeneer Also: I'm not too sure if the End really is infinite. The wastelands got a massive size expansion (see Aikars post) and I think the main reason for that was to provide more room for the End. The overworld and nether wastelands are limited in size, so I wouldn't be surprised if the same applies to the End (but... I'm not sure here).
