Potential Water Flow issue with Wheat for 1.13?

  1. Hello all! As usual, if not allowed simply delete.

I've run into some trouble with my auto harvest farm on Utopia. Specifically, on the wheat/carrot side, the water stops flowing down when it hits the wheat. On the other side (the mycel side) I run into no such trouble with Chorus flowers and the mushrooms. Is it possible that this is caused by the coding work for 1.13?

I know many who use the waterfall harvest version of crops farms and I post mayhaps to get insight. And to alert staff to a potential issue before 1.13 launches.

Has anyone else encountered this at their waterfall harvesters?

To access on Utopia to check out the design I am at 5025 Farm if anyone wants to come take a look.

Edit: I am also running into this problem with carrots, potatoes, and beet root.
  2. I know 1.13 has problems running on EMC as it's not fully updated, could that be why?
  3. Well, that's what I'm wondering, because I know the staff is trying to make sure the code is properly implemented by the software so people's things aren't broken. I'm wondering with this water update if some of it's movements aren't affected when encountering specific blocks, such as wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot. Water seems to flow as normal (well, what we're used to) when encountering chorus fruit and mushrooms.

I'm wondering if it's not some ID change from 1.12 to 1.13 in some items, and thus the flow issue?? Maybe water is treating wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot like a stone block instead of a 'poppable'/harvestable item.
  4. We have not implemented any of 1.13 yet. It is recommended that you use 1.12.2 till we update the server.
  5. Messing about on your res I figured out what the issue is. The central ditch running down your terracing. Raise the Sea Lanterns up a block and your water issues will be gone.
[EDIT] Raise them 2 blocks and keep your water in the trench since I think that is needed to keep your farmland wet.
  6. I am running 1.12.2.

I do need the center to keep the farmland wet. I see what you did, um I am going to try to place a block above the water in the central channel - see if that will help.

You guys are amazing btw. So patient with me.... lol

Edit: Raising that center lighting up two blocks so that it was even with the crops fixed the water flow issue. Thank you guys for helping me and being so patient with me.
