  1. So recently Game Stop accidentally leaked a new game for the Nintendo Switch called Pokémon Stars, which would be the Platinum Sun/Moon. This version is apprently exclusive to Nintendo's new console/handheld, the Nintendo Switch. It would also have new version exclusive Aloan Forms for the game. According to some sources it would be a pre-order for March of this year.
I'm kinda skeptical of all this, but what do you think? Would Nintendo release a new Pokémon game already for the Switch only? More importantly, if they did, does this mean that Pokémon would move to the Switch from the 3DS?
  2. Alongside all the evidence of Diamond & Pearl remake titles inside the games Sun & Moon themselves, there's also a lot of signs for Pokémon to move to The Switch.

    * People have found unused assets from the data-mining of the latest titles, including low-polygon models for all Pokémon with already-made walking and running animations. It's believed this'll be the return of Pokémon following the player, like in Gold & Silver and their remakes.

    * The Pokémon's in-battle models have barely changed since X & Y. Both they and the trainers are much more detailed (in polygon count and/or textures) than characters in other 3DS games. These 3-D models were probably made to be future-proof and intended to be used for many years to come.
Sure, all 3DS system models can handle the high-poly figures, but not always to optimal degrees. This'll likely be no problem for The Switch -- it seems to be a little more powerful than a Wii U.
