So I use a 256x256 texture pack and I recently found a 512x512 version of it. I downloaded it switched to it on the texture pack screen and it crashed MC. Now when I try to get on I get a black screen, any suggestions?
I have a suggestion, two actually. I assume you are on PC. Suggestion 1: (easy) Go into the texture pack folder found in your %AppData%/roaming/.minecraft/Texture Packs Delete the x512 texture pack (May be on prevention lock, beware.) Suggestion 2: (Also easy! ) Search "%AppData% in the start menu. Double Click "Roaming" Open ".minecraft" Click on the "options" text document Find the area where it says "skins:" and change the skin to "Default"
