From what I see so far - it seems to have fixed a lot of the connecting textures and shading issue. Still not compatible with 1.7.4 though
Optifine is updated again - I believe they added connected texture for stained glass: Ice for me still appears to randomly go invisible - and so does water ... Hopefully that will be fixed in a later update.
