Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome. For BBQ, I only have a few secrets: 1. Keep it simple. No need to overpower a quality piece of meat with too many spices or too much smoke. 2. Science is your friend and 3. amazingribs.com is a great resource. (No affiliated with that website at all...just found it useful.) Since I'm in TX, I've come to appreciate beef, but I do love going back to my roots: Memphis pulled pork (see below).
Welcome to the Empire. You're background sounds similar to mine. I think you will like it here as I have. I believe it to have a more mature group of players than most servers and the staff is also more mature and great. Have a great experience and consider smp5 if you aren't there already. And don't forget the mob arena on Tuesdays. It's a lot of fun.
