Ok I am not sure if it just me, but I have been noticing that the Nether Hounds seem to glitch out quite a lot when you are fighting them. They also love to explode and destroy all the drops that they are bouncing you away from. has anyone else experienced this joy with the Nether Hounds? Are they actually supposed to explode like that or what? What is the % chance of them exploding and wiping out all the drops that have fallen near them?
In my own experience fighting them, their own explosion doesn't wipe out any drops (I think). Otherwise I'd say it's above half the time they explode on death.
Ya from what I have seen the drops go bye bye when they go boom. I am generally too busy trying to deal with the pack to be able to drop in and get the drops as I kill them, plus that annoying bounce me around mess they do when they hit me. It is like I am getting hit by a machine gun or something...lol
