Before I start this writing piece, I would like to let you know that this interconnects with my current in game Norse styled village I am currently working on. I plan on making many more villages and cities, and eventually making my own country (the country idea was influenced by Dives Imperii, president: Diveiana). So far I have only constructed the capital, Skogrsfell, and i'm planning on making much more. As you can see, with my motivation to start a country, I also took some motivation from Diveiana, who himself created a number of gods in his in game "religion". I would also like to mention that this story does not necessarily take place in a minecraft setting, but more so a realistic setting, like the real mythological tales. I would also like to note "Narse" is a group of people, (basically Norse people, but I want to be a little original) who practice Narsism, a pagan type religious practice similar to Norse pagans, etc. This story was motivated from, DC comics, Norse Mythology, Greek Mythology, and Abrahamic beliefs. Enjoy. Creation Trillions of years ago, where there was no sign of energy, no light, no atoms, or even an existence, Skaperen, a strange form of energy that existed, yet did not exist, created reality itself. From his words, he spoke existence into the black vacuum of space, which formed different forms of energy and atoms. From his hands, he molded this energy and atomic particles into the first celestial body to exist: Skabt Stjerne. The first star to ever have been created, and the first form of energy in our multiverse to have given light. Out of Skaperen's mouth formed more energy, and again, he formed this energy, into the stars that we glaze in the night sky, planets, that each have their own personality, and gases, which set off a beautiful aroma in space. With these forms of matter he crafted with his own hands, he formed them into solar systems, which then formed galaxies, which were molded into universes, which were then finally arranged to create, The Multiverse. He fixed his eyes on the creation he had just bestowed into existence, and he was very happy with it. Although his beautiful creation was enough, he wanted to share his creation with other living forms of matter, and so, with the sweat of his hard worked body, and with the magical words that escaped his mouth, he created a race of divine beings, known as the Titans. Along with the Titans that he gently crafted, he also constructed a vast kingdom, from the stardust and gases that clouded the Multiverse, he formed magnificent pillars of stone, which supported breathtaking roofs made of gold, which housed courtyards and splendid rooms and villas. He looked at his work, and he saw that it was good, but he wasn't overly pleased with his final work. So, he breathed in life to another form of divine beings, angels, who glorified him and worshipped him everyday. He was pleased with this, but not until he tinkered around with more creatures, creatures who were as tall as the eye could see, or as small as what the eye could not. Some had 12 legs, some had none. Some were animals, some were nothing much at all. Some had 5000 eyes, some had 1, but most of all, he loved them all. Finally, from his golden throne, he examined his creation, and finally said, it was good. So he then returned to his glorious life, and there he rested for 500 billion years. But, you may ask, who looked after his creation? The titans of course! Before he rested his hand, he graciously gifted each Titan their own universe to rule, where they would then work on their own creation; And finally, everything was perfect and complete, needing nothing. The Decreator When Skaperen first created light, his shadow was cast out into the vacuum of space and created an immortal form of energy, known as the Decreator. As its name suggests, the Decreator's sole purpose was to abolish all creation in the universe, and so that's what it exactly did. For 500 billion years, unnoticed, the Decreator was at hard work destroying whole galaxies within a matter of seconds, and it didn't stop there. The Decreator also had the ability to mind control living form of matter, and even posses omni-powers, with the ability to manipulate matter and reality itself. After millions of universes were erased from existence, Skaperen caught on to the situation at hand, and so with the words of his mouth, he cursed the evil entity from ever destroying again, but it didn't work. Skaperen soon realized he could not destroy the Decreator, since the Decreator was not only his creation, but a part of him, and destroying the strange form of evil would also erases him from existence. Instead, Skaperen, who underestimated the entity, weakened the evil form of energy from destroying creation, so although the Decreator was still able to erase whole galaxies, he did it at an extremely slow rate, which was virtually unnoticeable. Though the Decreator only erased about 1 universe per 50 million years, it still had some tricks under it's hat, something which Skaperen would regret... This is only volume 1, and I hope to release more parts to it later on, although as of right now i'm quite sick and don't have enough stamina. If you would like me to write Volume 2: The Titan Crisis, I would be more than happy to release it later today or tomorrow. Please let me know what you think of this series, and give me some suggetions, all feedback is very appreciated. Thank you for reading!
Well written. It is interesting that a God (a conscious being that is uncaused and that is the first cause) has got an enemy that he can't destroy... do you know if there are any forms of faith/religion that think something similar? I read about your inspirations, but I only know Abrahamic beliefs and a bit of Greek mythology myself, nothing about Norse mythology or DC comics.
Thank you for the reply, and yes, I could name a few, like Christianity, Islam etc. Although those don't really connect to my story with the concept of multiple gods. Yes, it is interesting that there's a god that has an enemy that he cannot destroy, but his enemy did come from his shadow, and therefore it is apart of himself, so destroying it would be him destroying himself. Yep, it's confusing, even for me, sometimes writers don't even know what they're talking about themselves haha. This is the Decreator I have taken my inspiration from, it's very interesting. http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Decreator_(New_Earth)
That's not true actually, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (who is worshipped by Christians, Muslims and Jews) could destroy his enemy and will, he's just not doing so yet. But that isn't too important to this thread; I am looking forward to read more, it's nicely written and interesting to examine.
I do think there is a lot of good ideas here. As 607 pointed out, it's odd that the Decreator can't be destroyed by Skaperen, however, I believe this is a clever move. It keeps evil alongside good, making a nice balance of power.
Thank you, although the Decreator was weakened quite a bit, to the point where it took 50 million years just to destroy 1 universe, out of hundreds of thousands of supposed universes in the multiverse, although, he still has strong telepathic powers along with some emotional and spiritual manipulation. You'll hear about it in the next Chapter, it'll be out soon
The fall of the TitansAs we already were told, the Titans were a race of divine beings, one of the first creations, perfectly crafted and molded from Skaperen, the creator of the multiverse. We know the Titans were created to not only worship Skaperen and assist him in building Heaven, but they were also given their own galaxies all throughout the universes to take control over and do with what they pleased. This, of course, worked out and is what happened for over 900 billion years. But what we know past that time of peace and harmony is unknown, so I will fully unleash the knowledge about this event, knowledge which will give answers to the origins of the universe, knowledge which can be used both equally good and bad. Picking up from what was last written about the Decreator, we can fully understand the Decreator's sole purpose, and that is to decreate all of Creation. Even after being weakened immensely by Skaperen, the Decreator still followed his sole purpose, to destroy. The Decreator spent his total of 400 billion years in total isolation, millions of universes away from any form of life, meditating on his powers. Yes, his powers were insanely weak, but what Skaperen never fully understood was that the Decreator's power increased with every universe he destroyed; at that point, his only fuel was destroying life. The Decreator also had a power that was never shown to Skaperen; telepathic powers. Strong telepathic powers in fact, no one still to this day, not even the First gods know of how he got this power, but it is certain, it's incredibly destructive. The Decreator used this unimaginable power to seek the exposed minds of the Titans who were but trillions of light years away. The Decreator used this portal into the mind to take total control over a Titan who he had telepathically seduced. With it's consciousnesses apart of another host, The Decreator used this Titan to examine the Kingdom that had been built by Skaperen and the Titans for over 900 billion years. Filled with hatred, The Decreator made sure to fulfill it's mission, and that's what happened. The Decreator used his multi telepathic powers to take total control over 98% of the Titan race, at this time though, he held back on using the Titans to overthrow Skaperen, so he changed the personality of each titan to throw full galaxies in confusion. No one wanted to work with any Titan as they started to become more reckless and more demanding, although it was not their fault. Now, with a whole universe of Titans in his control, the Decreator mind controlled each titan into destructing their own galaxies, and other Titan's galaxies. This caused utter mayhem throughout the whole kingdom, news of whole galaxies being destroyed completely by their own rulers spread throughout the universe like wildfire. The people of Skaperen's Kingdom were getting very worried, and so was Skaperen. This wasn't the only problem though, the Titans not only destroyed their own worlds, but joined together within factions to destroy other galaxies owned by other factions of titans, and so, a war had begun. This war out breaking out worried Skaperen very much, and so, Skaperen procreated with a the Titan Soster, a very beautiful Titan who had not been mind controlled by The Decreator. Together, they both created a new race of gods. These gods were appointed to defend Skaperen and his kingdom, and so that's what they did, and with their own legions of angels, beasts and other space creatures, they fought against the Titans, in what was the biggest war in Narse Mythology, The Titan War. ...You may ask, why didn't Skaperen himself fight against the Titans? Surely he could wipe them out with one word, and yes, that is very true, but Skaperen at that time realized that The Decreator was somehow behind all of this, and so if Skaperen were himself to destroy the Titans, he would also destroy The Decreator itself, as The Decreator was in total control of the Titans, and if you could even say it, was the Titans.
