Sometimes I see a thread closed by mods but I have no idea why it was closed. I like how on some forums mods will say why they closed a thread, sort of like why they banned a player in game. eg: Too much off topic stuff, no one understands the topic, spam, you have a contest but not enough rupees to pay for it.
Sometimes the reason is confidential or will start a giant uproar for no reason. Also, time...it's faster to just type thread closed than to explain the situation without revealing key details you arent allowed to know. In the case of the thread I think that started this, he was banned. Any player can find that out by typing /p. Therefore, I will do you a favor and add that to the OP.
