  3. Thought minecraft/mojang servers are always up and down.

    If you want to check the status of the server. Here are two links http://help.mojang.com/ and http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ These will show you the status's of each server.

    I hope these help you in the future too. :D

    Also did you know Minecraft/Mojang servers are run by Amazon :p If you did not know you do now :)

  5. Just restart minecraft and it should fix itself. It randomly happens.
