(And all players in general. ) 3) Do not place protected blocks in community areas. If you chose to do so, please use the command /noprotectmode on (This will ensure that remodels of the OP can occur smoothly, and as often as needed.) Merek_Shadower and I would prefer you contact us directly if you find a need for a block in a community area (such as chest, crafting table, furnace) just in case you forget to use the /noprotectmode command, but if you find you urgently need it, please be mindful, and use the command. 4) No guest are allowed to tour the OP unless invited by a owner of the OP. Please clear any tours with either NDubb424, or Merek_Shadower . 5) To join Meadow Hills, you must be voted in by a majority vote. Meadow Hills-Farms Available Baconator-Gold/XP Farm This farm is not automatic, and please do not AFK at this farm. You will cause lag to anyone near the kill floor of this build. There are multiple floors at this location, most of which include manual food farms. Be kind, please replant! You can reach all floor levels by using the main stair case. You can head directly to the kill floor of Baconator, by using the express staircase, that will take you directly to the top. The express stair case also includes a water puddle at the puddle so you can quickly jump down when you are ready to leave. Baconator also features a community storage area (2 floors down from the kill floor). Please feel free to claim up to two chest for yourself, but please only claim two! This is not meant as a permanent storage area! Also, please do not sure the community storage area to store your extra rotten flesh! We offer quite the hopper system to deposit your rotten flesh, should you not want to save it for trading purposes! Please let one of the owners know if this gets full! Bacon also features a smelter for all those gold swords you will collect! Located on the outskirts of Meadow Hills Go Fish-Guardian Farm Go Fish is a fully automatic farm! Just AFK, and visit the auto collection bins when you are done to collect your goodies! Go Fish (GOF) Also features a community storage area. Feel free to claim up to two chest for yourself, but please, only two, as this is not meant to be a permanent storage area. GOF conveniently has a fish smelter located near the collection floor, for all your fish cooking needs! You will never go hungry again! Located just outside of nether hub connection station. The Iron Giant A 27 cell monster capable of producing mass amounts of iron in short periods of time. Located in the Setesh expansion. Automatic Sugarcane Farm AFK at the Sugarcane farm to collect Sugarcane! Located in Meadow Hills. Automatic Pumpkin Farm AFK at the Pumpkin farm to collect Pumpkins. Located in Meadow Hills. Automatic Melon Farm AFK at the Melon farm to collect Melons! Located in Meadow Hills. Automatic Cactus Farm AFK at the Cactus Farm to collect Cacti! Located in Meadow Hills. Semi-Auto Log Farm (Oak Only) Logs will grow as you apply bone meal. Once you grow what you need! Just chop them down! Located in Meadow Hills. Flower Duplicator Add what flower you need, and then bone meal, and watch the magic happen! Located in Meadow Hills. Skele Grinders x 2 (One located on MegHouse's Private Island, but she loves visitors!) AFK at either Skele Grinder to collect all the bones and arrows you could ever want! The Meadow hills tour guide Meadow Hills is an outpost founded and established by Merek_Shadower and was originally meant as a private space for a group of players to relax, have fun and do stuff. The whole idea behind Meadows is somewhat build upon the general EMC concept of Play your way. This should be your home in the Frontier and you should feel good about the things you want to do here. The outpost is currently led by NDubb424 who has been very active with dozens of outpost projects over the past year, so this news is really not much of a surprise for those who have been active within the outpost. NDubb424, Meadow Hills outpost owner The outpost has a lot to offer. We currently have a rather active outpost ("OP") community consisting of several players who are all interesting in having a good time. So what can you expect here? Well... that's what this guide is for: to give you an impression about the Meadows outpost itself. Meadow Hills is a serious outpost where we have established a small set of rules which we hope will help everyone who has become a part of the outpost to have a good time. Of course that's not saying we can't have some fun here Houses It all starts by building your own house. If you want to that is. Several players have build their own house on the outpost and use this as a second home (other than their own space in EMC town). Where to locate your house? That will be mostly up to you. Right now we're busy preparing to build several pre-made plots which new members will be able to chose from so in case you're really unsure you can simply chose a spot which you like best. But it doesn't have to stop there of course. Do you have wild ideas? Did you see that single spot which captured your heart and you'd really, really, really want to live there? Of course we cannot make promises up front but you should always feel free to ask. Meadows doesn't really apply a building style nor a specific theme to use, we want the members to have a good time and live in a house which they like best. Diversity is the name of the game they say, right? From a hill mansion to a small sky scraper, Meadows has diverse buildings. Farms We also provide community farms which vary from very simple areas where you can go to grab some fresh food right down to more massive builds. Above you see the very first community farm where you're free to get wheat and carrots, as long as you make sure to replant of course. But that's not all... Far from it... Heavily guarded by SkeleBlizz007 is the entrance to the Meadow hills gold farm. Well... the entrance way that is. Whether it's gold, XP or both which you want, the gold farm can provide what you need. Or what to think about a guardian farm? And maybe you're not even interested in any of this but all you want is a place to find flowers. Guess what? Meadows even has that part covered too... Insta-flowers We have a ton of different farms, the full list was posted by NDubb here. There are simply too many to cover in one single introduction post so... I'll be saving those for another time and we're going to look at some of those individually later. Building projects Although Meadows has existed for quite some time already the entire outpost is huge. Players always discover new things which can lead up to new exciting projects. The outpost actually consists of a collection of several established outposts grouped together. Which means that if building is your thing then there's a good chance that there will be a project or two which you might be able to participate in. Even though the guardian farm works, there's always room for improvement But having a huge area of land also means that if you really want to build a huge structure as your house (I don't know, a castle maybe?) then we got plenty of room to do so. Just let us know and we'll see what options there are. Outpost events And here's something which is even a surprise for our members because this has only been discussed between NDubb and myself so far. Talk about dropping a bomb shell eh? But yeah: what if you're not really into building (perhaps your house is already finished and you don't feel like expanding it) and the farms are also getting boring for you over time? I mean... One thing you should be aware off is that it will take you at least 20 minutes on a nether railway before you reach the outpost. Well... We've been talking and we're preparing a few outpost events where members can also win some nice prizes. The idea is basically to try and organize a group activity within the outpost, have a good time, optionally do something together which will also benefit the outpost and as said: there will also be some nice goodies given away. And there you have it.... A brief look at the Meadow Hills outpost. Where we have farms, spaces to build, places to mine * and we even have areas where you can simply go out and enjoy the natural beauty of a pristine Minecraft world....
