As the title states, does making a snow golem in the wild/nether not waste a pumpkin? I've tried making serveral snow golems in the wild/nether and the golem was created, consuming the snow blocks, but leaving the pumpkin suspended in midair, and I could break the pumpkin and get it back, thus making as many snow golems as I want using only 1 pumpkin. I apologise for having no screenshot / video to show this.
