I was wonder if there are more stronghold in the frontier other then the known ones? Like maybe much, much further out or are they removed when we update? I wanted to try to find one near my outpost and was wonder if there was a certain distance that an Eye of Ender could lead you to one.
I don't know how it is in the EMC servers, but maybe it's the same. I looked it up earlier today (about strongholds) and it says strongholds occur in rings that encircle the center of the map (0,0,0). The further out you go, the bigger the ring, and the more strongholds there are there.First ring starts at 1400 blocks from center, and the greatest ring ends at around 24000 blocks.<img src="https://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/mi....png?version=8abc7936872715379361f184a82ecd3a">Here's the webpage where you can read up on it.Enjoy

So if it ends at 24000 blocks, then there is no way any new strongholds were added in as those chunks would have surely been loaded already.
Seems that way,but you can ask a Senior Staff member about that.Maybe they added more.Don't think a regular mod would know.
