Lag Spikes Due to a Sound Problem?

  1. Since I first began to play EMC on 1.3, I have been getting sound delayed to cause so much sounds to go off at once and causing me to get these massive spikes of lag. I turn off the sound, but it the lag still was happening. In order to avoid this from hurting me my best change is to write books, which require me to stand still. I could also use the Optifine to help with the problem, or otherwise it's something to do with Java. Can someone give my a solution?:confused:

  2. I'm getting the same prob with 1.3, I was mining and all the sound of blocks breaking was delayed. I hope they release a patch for all these little bugs soon.

    Edit: I'm glad it's not just me having this problem, I thought it might be my sound card playing up again. :S
