Sometimes when you're unable to connect to EMC (or login to Minecraft in general) the cause isn't on your or EMC's side, but it's Minecraft.net's. Before posting threads saying things such as "I can't connect", make sure you check out these two links, as they'll tell you about any problems Minecraft.net is currently experiencing. When that happens, it could mean the problems are on your or EMC's end, although occasionally they won't detect a Minecraft.net error too.
