I have been wanting to make a shop but i am new and don't really know how to. Can anyone help in telling me how to please.

The link penguinDJ gave is really all you need to know about shop signs. You should look at the wiki if you need help, it has everything you could know about EMC.
I would also recommend hopping around other players shops to get a feel for the prices. (can do /v +shop or /v +mall for resses that players tagged with 'shop' or 'mall') Do not price the items in your shop based off the empire shop prices if you wish to get business! Good luck!
