How can i add a friends name to a locked chest?

  1. Well the title says it all. Ive already created a locked chest in the wilderness and i want to add a friends name to it so they can access it. I dont want to destroy the sign because ill loose 500 rupees. surely there is a way?

  2. As far as im aware, the only way is to remove the sign and relock it with the new names added, at least you get 500 back though, so its not too bad of a hit.

  3. I am sorry at this time there is not a way to add a name to an already existing sign. That is a good idea for the future though, just not sure how it would work.

  4. maybe placing a sign next to a lock sign with names on it by the same person who placed the lock sign updates the names justin?
