oki so I've been seeing all these things above chests in game and in malls but I have NO idea how to work them is there something you have to do in order to make them connect? do I need redstone? do I need a redstone device? what do o~o

that doesn't tell me how to attach a hooper to a chest??? thats all about signs- not hoopers I need the info on the hoopers not signs or setting up shops o~o I read that back when I started my shop see?
lol, you mean hopper? Have the hopper in your hand, cursor on the chest, hold shift and right click. That will connect the hopper to the chest.
