I am hiring someone to cut down this rainforest (one pixel = one block) in the SMP9 frontier, as part of the work being done in Wrem. For eleven years it has successfully impeded the city's eastward expansion; now, I hope to build an upscale housing development, and on the coast a marina and boardwalk. I would welcome input on how much to pay for a job like this: I have been away for some time.
How much you should pay really depends on what you plan to do next. Do you plan to use the oak and/or jungle wood and/or saplings for buildings/bridges and/or to restore some of the greenery once everything is built? If so, you may need them to build a storage facility to handle all the biomass. You may also need to hire an urban planner (i.e. builder with comprehensive gardening/landscaping skills) if you want to restore the greenery in a way that doesn't impede development. I like the idea, though! Perhaps you could replant some jungle trees and add in some bamboo, acacia trees, azalea trees, sunflowers and blue orchids to make it feel like a beach resort if you really want it to feel upscale? Just a suggestion. You do you!
If this is easily accessible by rail/ice boat, I should be able to do this. Cut rate deforestation is a specialty of mine I shall let loose a swarm of bugs to nibble away at those glorious trees. Send me a pm with directions and I will see if this is something I can knock out for you.
