I want to join smp3 but it says it needs the server name and the server address what should i type in?
The server name is whatever you want to call it. You can find the addresses in the servers section on the website.
smp3.empireminecraft.com... all the servers follow the same type of default template, it's whatever server (smp1, smp2, etc.) separator (.) domain (empireminecraft.com) even works with utopia. Sometimes when they do some updates, they'll throw up the temporary addresses for the servers but keep an eye on the forums for that =)
