  1. Hi everyone! Recently I ordered all my parts for a new desktop computer. This will be my first time building a computer, and one of the things I bought was Windows 8. So after buying Windows 8, I thought I would receive a disc, but instead they gave me a product key, which is fine. However, I was didn't know how I would install Windows 8 to my flash drive (16 gb - clean). The computer I'm using right now is a Mac which I think complicates things a little more... not sure. I tried looking stuff up online but I couldn't really find an answer, which is why I turned to here :) So if anybody could help, then thanks :D
  2. Shame on you for getting W8. It sucks.

All you need to do is go to the Microsoft website, download W8 and place it on a DISK. A flash drive will work, but not as well.

    1. Download W8
    2. Place it on your DESKTOP
    3. Right click it and click Burn <FILENAME.ISO> To Disk
    4. Insert a disk into your mac. MAKE SURE that it is the largest disk you can buy. This will make sure that you do not corrupt the .iso file
    5. Wait. A long time. A really long time. Go brew a cuppa' while yer waiting
    6. ???
    7. Profit
