[Help?] Installing Windows to new computer

Hi everyone! Recently I ordered all my parts for a new desktop computer. This will be my first time building a computer, and one of the things I bought was Windows 8. So after buying Windows 8, I thought I would receive a disc, but instead they gave me a product key, which is fine. However, I was didn't know how I would install Windows 8 to my flash drive (16 gb - clean). The computer I'm using right now is a Mac which I think complicates things a little more... not sure. I tried looking stuff up online but I couldn't really find an answer, which is why I turned to here So if anybody could help, then thanks

Shame on you for getting W8. It sucks.

All you need to do is go to the Microsoft website, download W8 and place it on a DISK. A flash drive will work, but not as well.

1. Download W8
2. Place it on your DESKTOP
3. Right click it and click Burn <FILENAME.ISO> To Disk
4. Insert a disk into your mac. MAKE SURE that it is the largest disk you can buy. This will make sure that you do not corrupt the .iso file
5. Wait. A long time. A really long time. Go brew a cuppa' while yer waiting
6. ???
7. Profit
