Hello everyone! So I've decided to build a gaming computer! But for that, I need you help It's going to be a desktop, that I'll be using mostly for gaming, but also for school, and other random things. Current budget: About 1500 euros. If it's less, yes please. If it's higher, :/ ok... Important: I live in the Netherlands, so if I buy from an English or American shop watch the shipping costs. Current questions: What type of Windows 7 should I get? Should I go for the AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card? It's for €450, or $613.10. *more questions later, I'm now onto more researching for other parts *
Yeah I have to get my dad to give it will try to, otherwise I'll probably have to do some jobs or get a good report lol.
So I found a Corsair Obsidian 650D case for 85 euros (106 usd i think). It's second hand, but they say it's like new. Should I go for it? Or should I just skip it? Or should I get a bigger case?
How about the processor 'Intel Core i7 4770K' at 3.5 GHz? It's for 293 euros (400 USD). Should I get it or not?
Try this. 1500E won't really get you an overkill PC but I think this may be what you're looking for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMRvz_IYSgM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&Description=nzxt phantom 410&N=-1&isNodeId=1 This case is great for the money. But since you have all the money you could want... you can choose what you want. I'm currently building one for around $700, I'm going to get this case soon because of the awesome design.
1500 euros is about 1875 usd . I'm not really a fan of that design, I more like a clean look. *note* I already have a spare HDD.
I've heard that the AMD Radeon R9 290X makes a lot of noise, so I had the idea to put a CPU cooler on top of it. Is that smart, or could I ruin my card?
Well I watched a video of someone doing it, and it worked perfect. Also I think the nvidia cards are a bit expensive.
Well you could but it wouldn't work. I would try this website. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com friend got a computer off of it and he loves it.
