[Help] 1.6 Update

  1. Hey,
    So I saw that 1.6.1 is out, and I have a few questions. :)

    1: Does the new launcher support 1.5.2, and can I still play on EMC with it?
    2: If I do download the new launcher, can I use the old one to play on 1.5.2 servers?
    3: Will my single player worlds be loaded on the new launcher when I download it?
    4: About how long will it take for EMC to update?

  2. For 1-3 the answer is yes. For number 4, no one really knows. 1.6 introduced a number of changes. You just have to be patient and wait.

  3. 1. There is an easy way to downgrade with no problems but losing your mods. jackbiggen posted a guide
    2. You won't need the old one with the new launchers downgrading
    3. All of your worlds will transfer over
    4. Aikar has said it will take longer then normal update. Maybe a couple weeks or more.
