~ Eve's Easter Poem~ Easter is the time of year, Where everyone starts to cry and cheer, Jesus sacrificed himself for the world this day, So we all sit, have dinner and pray, Adults get to enjoy delicious hot-cross-buns, While they talk about their day and all the kiddies fun, For the children, yummy Easter eggs are made, In soft colours of sapphire, amethyst and jade, But we all remember Jesus at the end of the day, We give him our thanks which is the way that we pay.
