Due to popular demand, === Santa's Smart Elf Club Is Back === Join the secret club of Santa's smartest elves - relaxing, helping others, and taking home all the best loot! You can only complete the event once! Once you reach 15 chests claimed - it's over and you can't get any more loot! Your outcome can vary - a lot! You could be stuck with useless junk like coal, sweet berries, or azalea if you just rush and grab the first chests. The top chests matter a lot! Each chests is a random pool of prizes - so a different player will get different loot - and the only way to know what loot is to combine data from many players. Last year, the top chest alone had a chance at 5 highly elusive steel ingots (I'd buy them for 100k)! If you missed that one single chest, it was on average worth more than the next top four chests combined (55k average from all 4 chests combined). And either of those is more valuable than the average loot in all 20 other chests combined (only 40k from 20 chests and you're not even allowed to claim 20 chests)! The year before, if you missed just the single best chest, you missed a strong chance at an entire full stack of 64 enchanted gold notch apples. (The kind which can't ever be crafted anymore.) The chest was in a clever secret area. Those enchanted golden apples had a market value of 90k at the time. The average market value of the loot of that single chests was worth more than the average loot of the bottom 22 chests combined. Many of the chests hiding spots are really really clever, and they were right under your nose the whole time! === Membership Benefits === Smart elf club members know the top chests with certainty! All chests are ranked, and each chest has a screenshot, instructions, and X, Y, Z coordinates to find the chest. Each chest gives random loot from a set. The set can't be known without combining the data from many players together. We compute an average market value for that chest. Every time a member reports on their loot, the loot set and rankings change live. You can be sure you're getting the top chests and not missing any opportunity to get the loot that you want most! Last year, the chests were still able to be claimed well into February. While you can definitely claim some chests, for the best result, wait until later to claim the final chests. Access is set up within 96 hours of your application or sooner. === How To Join Smart Elf Club === Membership has different requirements depending on when you join: (1) Early Bird (Up To December 28th) Requires providing at least 14 chest location coordinates or specific loot data from 6 claimed chests. (2) Average Joe (Up To January 1st) Requires providing at least 16 chest locations or specific loot data from 9 claimed chests. (3) Late Kate (Joining After January 1st) Requires providing at least 20 chest locations or specific loot data from 12 claimed chests. All members pledge to keep meticulous and careful notes of exactly what loot you get from every chest! Looks interesting, but it will be impossible to join because there's no way that I will find the required number of chests. (I've found only 6. And that's after looking everywhere.)
