  6. If it's close to the same amount, it's not that bad. The idea with a spending cap is so that people don't feel they have to spend a ton of money on something.

  7. Do we have the option to spend a lot of money if we choose to or give something more than the 50k limit? Knowing that we may not receive something of equal?

  8. Ya I think that would be ok. I changed that rule. People can give anything they like. Something personal, something that you think the precipitant would love or something that costs a lot/a little. The purpose is the fun of giving!

  16. It's interesting that I missed this until now. :confused:
    But it's still in time!
    This is actually the first time in my entire life that I don't celebrate Sinterklaas. In case you didn't know: the Dutch tradition Sinterklaas is what the American tradition of Secret Santa was based on. Because Americans couldn't pronounce 'Sinterklaas', it became 'Santa Claus'. :p
    I do also think that there doesn't need to be a spending cap. In real life, it makes a lot of sense, but on EMC it isn't necessary. :)
