Today my brother bought a new minecraft account with a gift code and it was his mojang account also. Problem is, he can't sign in to minecraft with his default username so he uses his e-mail and password. So he wanted to play EMC with me but when he tried registering on the forums so he could get in, he used his username, then his email, and he couldn't get on. Any ideas on what's going on?
Make sure he has tried to join the server first. I'm not sure if that would affect it, make sure the make an account box is checked, if it keeps happening, ask an admin or senior staff.
Get him to sign into the Minecraft client using his email and password, and connect to an EMC server. He then needs to sign up here using his Username and "join for free" code (password will not work anymore).
