I don't know if that is worse or better? I do know that anyone that thinks the purge would be part of an anarchist society is someone that would die really quickly in such a society. The purge is a thing of republics and democracies. Build a standing army, take over all political power, control the media, brainwash people into worshipping the ones with the whips. Then, you get the purge. All great and wonderful republics throughout history have had amazing scorecards when it comes to killing their own citizens. People look at monarchies nowadays as if they are barbaric while glorifying a "representative governance" when throughout history it's the latter that has committed atrocious acts of genocide. *shrugs* Anarchy equals the purge though, while we eat and drink poison....
