Cactus not breaking minecarts

  1. On a couple of my residences (smp7) minecarts are no longer being broken by cactus at automated minecart stations. They used to work perfectly. Is there a change in game mechanics or is it a lag thing? Anybody else had this problem and how did you fix it?
  2. I've used this method outside of town since the update and it works..

    Edit: Actually I can't get the cactus to break on my Utopia res.. I just tried it out and
    /res set minecart:destroy true on but it don't break.
  3. I am not really sure what changed in the code. But the next update will fix this.

  5. Further discussion about this in-game with chickeneer and others...

    Cactus WILL destroy carts in town IF you set the flag to enable breaking minecarts.
    I suppose it opens your res up to people breaking and taking minecarts but at least it means the mechanism works.
  6. Nah. I think I have it reverted back to how it was in 1.12 now
  7. this works as intended, for real... Ever since my friend Shell has had a 2nd res he wanted a transport system:



    put stuff in the chest, stuff gets into a minecart and then goes to second res.

    This is how it works:



    I just asked shell to try this out and everything still worked....

    shell does not have breaking perms on his res...
