I recently discovered that EMC used to have Arena servers. They were taken down. It was because there was no code to keep it so you wouldn't regain health of starve. Now we have it. Bring back the Arena Servers! If we get a lot of members to vote we can bring back the Arena servers.
EMC is working on quite a few ideas for new types of servers. We eventually want to branch out from JUST doing SMPs (though SMPS will still receive full attention, so don't worry on that). The arena servers were EXTREMELY buggy. It was a plugin we used, not created and caused a LOT of strain and errors on the servers, which is why we ended up removing it. We liked the idea so, it wasn't that we just took it down for no reason. If we find a better way to bring this back that works for EMC, we will do it.
