  1. Hey guys and gals. as we may all know 1.2.2 came out today. If your like me, you're dying to play it. Well the simple solution is to back up your minecraft.jar file by, say putting it on a USB. Then, when the new update comes you can update. Then when you get tired just delete any worlds you played on the latest version and delete your minecraft.jar file. Then after that you can copy your minecraft.jar in your USB and still be able to play EMC! Hope this helps!!

P.S. If this is in the wrong forums area sorry for spamming :)
  2. It's a very helpful post. If I were an admin, I'd sticky it. I never thought of using just a USB before, though I use a different minecraft client and run the version 1.1 always until a newer update is made. Thanks for posting!
  3. No problem! I only use a USB because on my HP whenever I copy a file and paste it on say my desktop it will update automatically with the original file so that's why I suggest a USB if your computer does the same.
