This auction is illegal as you cannot have a bonus included.

Nowhere in the auction rules does it state he cannot have a bonus chest... at all, he is using this to help sell stuff he clearly cant get a dc of and needs to liquidate.

The auction is valid until you introduced the bonus chest. It's part of the auction so that means you need require amounts to a valid Auction. Closing Auction, You can make new auction with just 4 Dc of Stonebrick.
