Should I add some ads to my upcoming machine database? I want to put some EMC shop ads to earn a good amount of rupees for my shop Also should I also put commerical ads to get some real money to pay for maintenance?
As far as i know, the interest of the EMC community around forums it's not big, maybe 1000 players actually check the forums periodically and maybe from those a little portion of them would be interested in using such database. I suggest you do a research which can tell you more about what EMC comunity wants to do. Contacting the emcshops.org owner (raenis) would be a nice idea, as also Justin, to know if it's great or not to have google adds in the website (considering that your website might get 1/32 of what EMC traffic handles.)
I tried to put clicksor ads,then show the website to bukkit forum members,they found out the ads are annoying.
