A leap of faith : standing over the lava lake

  1. Hi everyone!
I went to the wastelands' nether this week end in search of magma blocks, and found nearly right at spawn a blaze spawner. So I decided to turn it into a PUBLIC blaze farm.

Of course, it couldn't go the easy way : I dug my hole and... the last three layers were... inexistant : I was digging over a lava lake!
I made the whole thing out of glass, to keep a nice vista while grinding blazes for xp and blaze rods. I hope you'll like it as much as I do, but don't you go swinging pickaxes in there ;) (althought glass might be grief protected?)

Anyway : it is on smp9, wastelands nether South-East (/wnether se)
When you teleport there, turn ever slightly to the left and you should see lava encased behind glass in the nether rack of the wall. From there, follow the glass path embedded in the floor of the fortress corridor and you'll get there in no time.
The path is not exactly safe though. Be on your guard, as you could meet mobs on the -short- way, and includes a part open to the nether.
    oremia and Tigerstar like this.
