  1. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the terrible attacks that took place on the 7th of July, 2005.

Suicide bombers targeted London, destroying a bus and 3 underground train carriages. 52 people were killed and over 700 people were injured in the horrific attacks. The bombings shock London, the UK and the international community as the reality hit once again, that terrorism is still a thing.

You can read more about 7/7 here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_2005_London_bombings

For whatever comes our way, we must always stay strong and unite as one. If we don't, then the terrorists win and our freedoms are lost.

All I ask is that you just reply with something nice, even just a <3 to show your compassion towards the victims of this horrific event.

    Thank you.

Just so you know you have a typo, 1st line 2005 not 2015

First time hearing about this... Not sure how.
  5. There have been worse terrorist attacks elsewhere in the world. Probably got drowned out. This one was pretty big here though because it was the first UK suicide bombing, pretty much our first terrorist attack that wasn't done by the Irish Republican Army, and highlighted that our terrorists were coming from inside the country and not from outside - the opposite of the United States. MI5 and MI6 are also usually pretty good at stopping these before it happens, so that makes it big too.

    Also bumping for love :p
