I understand if you have additional information to add but just saying "+1" seems like spam and, in my opinion, should be deleted. It adds no value to the thread that couldn't be added without liking the post or, if possible, voting in the poll. /rant over

Posting +1 can basically bump up a thread to recent activity to grab more attention from others

Or it can be a way to look pretty mlg

some people just do liking sprees so its a sign you actually care.

The +1 comes from google+, they took it from there and put it here as well

I do it 'cause it shows I agree with the idea and why after wards

I like all suggestions because for some people it takes a lot to put your idea out there to the critical world of Internet forums.

+1 (or-1) show wether I agree or disagree with it. A lot of suggestions don't have polls, so if a lot of people say "+1" it could make staff consider something they might not have considered.
