I haven't finished the game yet. I can't stand the frame rate drops, the delay I seem to get when I press a button in combat, the sound that sounds like it was recorded in an empty room with a rubbish microphone in an echo-y room (seriously some of the worst sound I've heard in a video game :P), and the glitches. Oh lord, the glitches >.>
I also can't play as Arno. I seriously hate his character. They should make a game where you play as Elise ;-; (she's like, the best-written female character in a game I've seen in forever :P)
Gonna be honest, I hated Arno at first. He was so full of himself, and I couldn't stand that. But due to the events in the game, Arno becomes much more humbled, and although at the end he is still a bit cocky, it's no longer at the point where it's unbearable.
Also, something that the game did well is the continuing of blurring the line between Assassins and Templars, both groups are becoming more and more alike. It's no longer that the Assassins are good, and the Templars are bad, we are learning that there is a lot of gray.
Yeah, I can completely agree with that. Being the second full game I've played since Brotherhood (an amazing game, I did play AC 3, but never finished it) I can officially say that it's exceeded my expectations.
I've only finished Revelations, III (the puzzle part of it in the modern day storyline confused me and I never finished that part :P), and IV. I own all of the games but my PS3 is broken, so I can't play any of them >.>
You don't, it's a truly amazing series :P I love how they take you to different moments in time, I just feel as if they should remove the Animus stuff now. I kind of understand that it's there to stop the game getting boring though, but it's slightly annoying.
Assuming the next game is set in Victorian London, the game after that could be set in Feudal Japan. There was a set of pictures in Assassin's Creed IV that showed revolutionary France, the Houses of Parliament and the Elizabeth Tower, and some Asian building - which is more likely to mean a Chinese setting, seeing as according to AC lore, we have no reason to go to Japan.
But what if there was a Sage in feudal Japan? It would be plausible, and to add interest to the game, the Templars could be the samurai, who were prevalent in Japan until the 1860s. Because of that, we could combine the feel of Japan with the modern technology of the previous Assassins Creeds.
