Well at the top right you'll have your profile, inbox, and alerts: inbox is for private conversations alerts are for recent likes and posts in threads ... your profile is to see this post and to edit your information
Below that is navigation.... you can use this to go to other areas of the site... click the empire logo to go to the main page click forums to view other threads on the main page there will also be recent threads, you can click one of those to see what people recently say :)
on the side of main posts on threads there will be a reply button to respond to someone and at the bottom is a comment button if you want to just type something without responding to someone ---- to the right of your post is like and comment usually... like is if you like what someone says (much like facebook) and comment is to bring up the chat box to type :)
