I do French, and it's pretty easy to understand once you get into it but I don't know many people who do Spanish, so it might be interesting for you. Your choice though!
Spanish is an extremely common language and therefore extremely useful. French is an important business language and is harder than Spanish, and you can actually understand some Spanish if you know French.
But Spanish sounds like amazing taco-y stuff, while French sounds like you're trying to gargle a mouthful of lighter fluid while being repeatedly punched in the stomach by a rabid chimp. Okay, I MIGHT be a bit biased. :P I vote Spanish.
Where I live, you wouldn't believe how many job listings are requiring that people be bilingual (Spanish as the 2nd). This is especially true in medical fields but "bilingual preferred" is showing up more and more in a variety of jobs. You definitely have a leg-up over other people being considered and as the job market gets more competitive you can... (cont. next post due to character limit)
(continued) ...use every advantage you can get. I know you probably won't be looking at starting a career for a few more years, but something to think about.
